Kinda of two minds about that. I keep thinking I'm not the kind of guy who anything really important could ever have happened to. Not even in another place or time or possibility. I'm just me.

I wouldn't mind it, I guess. I don't like hurting people, but if they just won't quit sometimes it's the only way.

It's not right, though, hurting people no matter what they've done. That's what I was taught, even if it seems kinda backwards. You think people would still be okay with me if I was someone like that?

He shouldn't tell Shuji what happened, why he had to leave home--but he's lying, making Shuji think he's a really, really good person, when honestly--]
