[This has been his grand design all this time. Obviously!]
You can put it down when we get back. And then I'm gonna do this thing real quick and then I'll carry you everywhere, right? Here—
[He turns the corner, and there's the room. Jogging up to the door, he doesn't quite kick it in, but there is definitely some leg action in the way he turns the handle with his elbow, then hipthrusts-heelnudges the door open. Yeah!!]
[Sayori gets lightly dumped on the bed while he starts digging fiercely through Ferran's stuff. What is even happening.]
[She is, admittedly, a somewhat sweaty princess; defeating 800 kobolds will do that to you. She flushes in a pleased way anyway, even if he called her a dork in the same breath.
But the door trick! So flexible, so innovative!! She's sufficiently impressed with it. She sets her bow and quiver aside once she's on the bed and watches him, uh...] Isn't that Ferran's stuff?
[Sometimes princesses are sweaty, okay? Girls poop and princesses sweat. And are dorks. After a few more moments digging, he pulls out some blank paper and a pack of markers with a loud a-ha!]
Yeah, so?
[He's not familiar with the concept of asking before he takes things, unfortunately. Sitting on the floor, back to Ferran's bed, he uncaps one of the markers with his teeth.]
Guhwuh yu— [Wait, crap. He spits the cap into his lap.] Gimme like five, okay? [Time for . . . Art.]
Sayori leans slightly to peer into Ferran's stuff and try to get a better idea of where Mista pulled these supplies from, but she's very quickly distracted by the sounds of drawing.]
[Unfortunately, it's not a terribly interactive process. Mista seems very focused on his Vision, whatever it is. Fortunately, it seems to go pretty quickly. Possessed by Inspiration as he is, there is some intense scribbling for a minute or two before he lets out a gusty sigh and slaps the marker down on the floor (with no respect for other people's things, again).]
[Sayori dutifully keeps her hands over her eyes........most of this time.
She does peek through her fingers a little, but only to be nosy about the personal objects in the bedroom, and also to look fondly at where the New New Aspen ornament hangs. Terrible.
Anyway. She pretends to have not been doing this and nods fiercely.] Yeah! Super ready!
[There goes the notebook tumbling to the floor. What's he supposed to do, make sure his hands keep doing what they're supposed to be doing? When he is getting a smooch? The hands don't even know how to do it.]
[If this is the reward for art, he thinks, kissing her back a second or two late, then he loves art now.]
[They can retrieve the sketchbook later this is important!!!
It is only a few seconds that she absolutely kisses him way too deeply for this goofy art to warrant. But she's practically glowing when she pulls back a little, breathless and giddy with a wide grin, her hands still on his cheeks.] It's perfect! I love it!

...
[Wait. He said this was a surprise.]
Should I close my eyes?

[AHHHH SAYORI]
[He covers his face briefly with the pad of paper, on some kind of logic probably. Who knows what.]

[FLINGS HER HANDS OVER HER EYES]
Okay, okay, they're closed!

[Entirely having forgotten the fact that he's bad at art, buoyed by his own excitement, he flips his (Ferran's) pad over to reveal . . .]
[A masterwork.]
